Who I Am
I have been an attorney since 2018, after graduating law school faster than anyone in Capital University history. As soon as I graduated, I started my own law firm practicing corporate and business law.
Now I’ve joined the team at Doucet Law to start a business law department. I personally work with clients for business litigation and transaction matters.
Experience
Corporate Transactions
I have consulted on several corporate transactions and prospective franchise transactions. I’ve represented buyers and sellers throughout several acquisitions worth over $1 million and counseled buyers and sellers on franchise disclosures and documentation. In the fourth quarter of 2023, I helped a buyer close on the purchase of a $5 million hotel.
Business Litigation
My business litigation experience includes ownership disputes and breach of contract claims. I’ve helped defend business interests against hostile co-owners, defended business owners with employment disputes, and engaged in a wide variety of breach of contract claims. Most notably, I’ve represented a business owner in a contract dispute over the purchase of a $3.2 million commercial property.
