About Me
I started my own law firm straight out of law school and have been practicing business law in Columbus, Ohio for 5+ years. During that time, I reviewed and revised hundreds of contracts, represented clients in court, and consulted multiple clients on million dollar acquisitions.
My M&A experience includes commercial real estate, financing, and franchising issues. Notably, I represented a buyer in the purchase of 4 Firehouse Subs franchises for a price of over $1 million. I also represented a buyer in the purchase of an Extended Stay America hotel, for a price of over $5 million, that closed in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Now, I run the business department for Doucet Law. I help the firm’s business clients revise transactional documents, start new businesses, resolve legal concerns, and litigate business disputes.
